There is a tendency to temper brittleness, and the transverse impact toughness is poor. The welding performance is better, but when the thickness is greater than 3mm, it should be preheated to 150℃ first, and heat treatment is required after welding. Generally used after tempering.

Heat treatment specifications and metallographic organization
Heat treatment specifications: (1) Quenching: first 950℃, second 890℃, oil cooling; tempering 230℃, air cooling, oil cooling; (2) 880℃ austempering at 280～310℃.
The delivery status should be specified in the contract when delivered by heat treatment (normalizing, annealing or high temperature tempering) or without heat treatment.
