ASTM A299 plates in 50 mm and under in thickness are normally supplied in the as-rolled condition. Plates may be ordered normalized or stress relieved, or both.

ASTM A299 Grade A boiler steel plate,ASME SA299 Grade A pressure vessel steel plate are specification for carbon steel and Manganese-Silicon. As for thin plate SA299 Grade A which produced from steel coil SA299 Grade A and furnished without heat treatment or just with stress relieving only,the additional requirements,including additional testing requirements and the reporting of additional test results shall be applied for A20/A20M steel standard.
